"They help you a lot, seriously, ever- since I walked through the door the first day, I saw smiles - everyone was friendly and helpful. It is a great school because I'm done with the program, and I'm still receiving assistance. So, that's a big advantage, that they always have your back and are always there helping you out."

ACC College Information for Parents

We have compiled some information for parents with questions that family members frequently ask:

How do students pay for school?

Every student's situation is different, so our Financial Aid Officers work with students on an individual basis to help them find the funds for which they qualify. Part of their job is to help students keep it all straight and make sure they've filled out the proper forms in the proper manner.  If a student is dependent on parents, there is college tuition help for parents in the form of a Direct Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students.

What are the career training classes like?

Generally speaking, each career training program is a combination of traditional classroom learning and hands-on clinical and laboratory experience. Most courses also require a school externship. All of this is geared toward preparing your son or daughter for the real world.

We invite all prospective students to visit the school's campus and observe the teaching environment. We'd like to extend that invitation to you as well.

What happens after graduation?

Our job doesn't end when the diplomas and certificates are handed out. We take our career services seriously. We can't guarantee employment, but we can guarantee that we'll do everything we can to help get their career started. We offer help with resume writing, interviewing and other job search skills.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will provide all the necessary school information for parents.
