This October, physical therapist assistant students from American Career College gave back to the community by helping organize donations for needy children this holiday season.
Led by PTA program director Janice Lwin, the 30 students and faculty arrived at Giving Children Hope in Buena Park and were quickly put to work in the warehouse, sorting and packing toys and gifts that were donated to churches and local children in need. Other ACC-Orange County PTA students worked with Giving Children Hope's “We’ve Got Your Back” program and loaded backpacks with food supplies for children with food insecurity.
"It was a wonderful event of giving and positivity," Lwin said. "It was heart-warming to be able to give back to the community."
