Students at American Career College-Orange County got a chance to unwind this summer during the Student Appreciation Rally this June.
Elita Beltran, an admissions specialist at ACC-Orange County, said she knows the students grind every day in the classroom and then hit the books at night.
“It’s nice to take a little break and sit back a little bit and enjoy the day,” Beltran said.
Along with games and live music, the students had the chance to win prizes and get lunch from the In-N-Out Burger truck.
Surgical technology instructor Rebecca Hutchins said she likes Student Appreciation Days because it gives her an opportunity to “decompress” with students outside of the class.
“They study a lot,” she said. “It’s hard work, so this is really nice.”
