The dental assisting program at American Career College-Ontario hosted recruiters from Pacific Dental Services to explain the externship process and what to expect during the 160-hour experience.
The four recruiters — two from California, one from Las Vegas and Reno — also talked to the DA cohort regarding careers at Pacific Dental Services and gave an outline of the company in regards to the benefits they offer employees.
“Our students were engaged and had many questions,” ACC-Ontario dental assisting externship coordinator Jennifer Rivera said. “I received great feedback from the students and even have some starting to consider PDS several months before they are ready to go off to their externship.”
