American Career College-Los Angeles kicked off Optics Week with a visit from one of the largest discount providers of eye examinations, eyeglasses and contact lenses in the nation.

District managers Mari Cortez and Christina Cruz from America's Best Eyeglasses talked with 20 optics students about the benefits of being educated as an optical technician and the growth potential the optics world has to offer.

"Business is booming for America's Best," ACC-LA Career Services specialist Jason Stoll said. "They recognize the need to obtain the best candidates out there, which is why they chose American Career College."
