Early on Saturday morning, March 10, sixteen dental assisting students from American Career College-Ontario walked into Corona High School for a free health screening day in the Corona-Norco community.
“It was great to see our students supporting our local community,” Program Director Lydia Saenz said. “They really enjoyed being able to interact with dentist and patients.”
The event was put on by the Sathya Sai International Organization of USA and offered free health exams and immunizations to all families in attendance. ACC-Ontario students had the opportunity to preform and chart oral exams, evaluate oral hygiene, place fluoride and teach patients how to properly brush and floss their teeth.
