American Career College-Los Angeles hosted a blood drive this April, collecting 80 units of blood and signing up more than 100 students for future efforts.
ACC-Los Angeles Student Services coordinator Ruthy Rodriguez said she was blown away by how many students kept coming through the doors on April 23. When the drive was finally over, Rodriquez said, 104 students had registered with LiveStream.
"ACC-LA students and staff are truly amazing for coming together to make a difference in our community. Together as a campus, we were able to save 240 lives," she said. "Thank you to all the students and staff who made this possible."
