Two teams from American Career College-Ontario's respiratory therapy (RT) program participated in the regional Sputum Bowl this March.
The ACC-Ontario RT students spent the last few months practicing for this event and made it to the semi-finals. ACC-Ontario RT Clinical Education Director Shannon Rousselo said she couldn't be more proud of her students.
"The questions were extremely hard and it was an intense competition, but our teams did a great job," Rousselo said. "Most of all we had a wonderful night together!"
The Sputum Bowl is a competition sponsored by the American Association for Respiratory Care between respiratory programs across the nation.
