American Career College-Los Angeles held the grand opening for its new radiography lab this May.
Before the official ribbon cutting, ACC-Los Angeles staff and radiography faculty and students enjoyed appetizers and snacks served by a skeleton crew of waiters. Students also earned raffle tickets for prizes, enjoyed some cake and sparkling cider and were finally able to check out the new equipment for the first time.
“Everything we have here for the students to use is digital radiography, which a lot of facilities and hospitals now require," ACC-LA radiography instructor Robert Medellin said. "We have one of the best programs out there. The amount of support that people have here, I don’t think you can get that anywhere else.”
