The students at American Career College-Orange County have a new place to recharge their batteries — literally and figuratively — with the grand re-opening of the student lounge this October.
ACC-Orange County Student Services director Valerie Dickson said the ribbon cutting was a welcome event on campus after nearly six months of students using a temporary location to unwind and study between classes in the La Palma building.
"Students commented on how much they enjoyed the fantastic mural on the wall and the charging stations really helped out when using the space for studying," Dickson said.
Besides charging stations, the new student lounge also offers water stations, microwaves for heating food and several vending machines.
