Students ambassadors at American Career College-Los Angeles took matters into their own hands this May when they committed to a trash bag challenge in the neighborhood.
ACC-Los Angeles Student Services coordinator Ruthy Rodriquez said more than 20 student ambassadors grabbed trash bags, garbage pickers and biohazard boxes for dangerous objects and headed outside to clean up around campus on May 15.
Rodriquez said students swept thru the building, the student parking lot and the immediate area around campus to help keep the "neighborhood looking sharp."
"We collected 25 bags of trash and did it with a smile," Rodriguez said. "And a lot of latex gloves."
