American Career College-Ontario celebrated National Pharmacy Technician Day this October with a Pharmacy Olympics for its students.
ACC-Ontario pharmacy technician program director Eileen Johnson said the games were designed to be fun for the students while also teaching the skills they need to succeed in the industry.
Student pairs competed in triathlon of pharmacy-related tasks, including a multiplication exam, a speed-typing test and a timed pill count. At the end of the three events, Johnson named the top three teams with the highest combined scores. The cohort also enjoyed a potluck at the end of the games.
Congratulations to all the winners!
