Nearly 200 students at American Career College-Los Angeles took time from their day to celebrate Cinco de Mayo on campus.
Student Services provided the music and snacks out on the first floor patio and encouraged students to sign up for the Salsa Tasting contest. By the end of the day, 185 students had tasted the four kinds of salsa — green, mild, medium and hot! — and were quizzed on fun Cinco de Mayo facts.
"It really was a great job by everyone," ACC-Los Angeles Executive Director Chris Turen said. "These type of events are great for building student engagement and make our students feel connected to ACC."
