Who says field trips are for grade school?
Recently, vocational nursing students from American Career College-Orange County took a trip to the California ScienCenter to explore the new Body Worlds exhibit.
The exhibit features “real human bodies in sickness and in health” through displays of bodies and organs, both whole and in slices, and through interactive multimedia.
Their instructor, Dwight De Guzman, has formed a special bond with his 13 students, who he has affectionately dubbed his "baker’s dozen." At the beginning of the term he even surprised them with matching personalized T-shirts.
The trip was part of ACC-OC’s effort to help students explore their field of study in a variety of ways.
