Nearly 300 American Career College students got a slice of the holidays at the annual "Pie Giving" event this November.
ACC-Los Angeles and ACC-Ontario campuses hosted the annual pie-give-away event on Nov. 16. Students were able to show their appreciation by writing what they were thankful for on a paper leaf and attaching it to a large paper tree on the wall. In return, all participants were rewarded with a slice of pumpkin pie for being a part of the ACC family.
“Students really enjoyed the event because they felt special,” Ruthy Rodriguez, ACC-LA student services coordinator, said. “They were able to share their gratitude on our tree.”
